I am happy you found my page and I can't wait to take you through one of my Pilates classes. I am passionate about Pilates! Because of my love for it, I wanted to be a great teacher. However, not without a great deal of research to find the best teacher training available. I discovered Ron Fletcher Pilates on the Pilates Method of Alliance (PMA) website. The Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) is the international, not-for-profit, professional association and certifying agency dedicated to the teachings of Joseph H. and Clara Pilates. Their mission is to foster community, integrity, and respect for diversity; establish certification and continuing education standards; and promote the Pilates method of exercise.
Ron Fletcher Pilates was the best fit for me because I believe in the percussive breath enhances the movement. Fletcher Pilates incorporates the use of Percussive Breathing(tm) to help improve lung capacity and to help better access the deepest core muscles. This creates focus and relieves stress. The breath is bringing oxygen to all your organs and the results are immediate. I would love to have you feel this in your own body. The mat and reformer-based exercises are designed to restore the natural curves of the spine and rebalance the muscles around the joints.
I have had to overcome many personal injuries which gives me a better understanding of the body and limitations due to injury. Pilates exercise is a safe and highly effective way to stretch, strengthen and streamline your body without building bulk or stressing your joints. As long as your doctor clears you for exercise, we can address strengthening your weakness or simply work out areas of the body that are not affected by your injury until you are feeling better. Pilates should feel good and leave you feeling energized! Always respect your body and its limits.
